Jamaica shocks FIBA 3×3 AmeriCup 2022 on Day 1

Jamaica’s women created a major upset on Friday’s first day of the FIBA 3×3 AmeriCup 2022 basketball played outside the FTX Arena in Miami after topping Pool C and advancing to Sunday’s quarterfinals.

Jamaica with two victories were over Chile (18-17) and basketball powerhouse Argentina (12-8).

Led by Morgan Green, who scored no less than 11 points in Jamaica’s comeback win against Chile and 8 against Argentina, this Jamaican team looks like a strong contender for the medals.
