Puerto Rico re-up as Host for 2024 AmeriCup 3×3

The International Basketball Federation (FIBA) is thrilled to announce that the fourth edition of the FIBA 3×3 AmeriCup will return to the vibrant city of San Juan, Puerto Rico, from December 13-15, 2024. Following an unforgettable event last year, Puerto Rico is once again set to host this prestigious tournament, showcasing the best of 3×3 basketball in the Americas.

The previous AmeriCup in San Juan not only highlighted the city’s beauty and the region’s enthusiasm for 3×3 basketball but also marked a significant moment for Puerto Rican 3×3 basketball. The Puerto Rican men’s team claimed their first trophy in a historic victory, while the USA women’s team successfully defended their title.

This tournament offers an opportunity for every national federation from the Americas including Jamaica to showcase their talent, with both men’s and women’s teams invited to participate.

As with every FIBA 3×3 national team official competition, the main draw will feature an equal number of men’s and women’s teams, who will play alternately on the same court in front of the same fans.
